Looking east from the Main Hall, SAC.

The pondage has been dug out and new top-soil added. What appears to be a form of planting hessian has been laid around the perimeter.

First water in the Wetland

Following good rain in mid March, the Wetlands filled for the first time, fed by stormwater runoff.

Once fully established the role of the Wetlands will be to filter stormwater prior to it entering Gardiners Creek, thereby improving the quality of water flowing on down to the Yarra River.
