Membership of U3A Hawthorn is open to retired, or about to retire, people aged 55+.

In order to join U3A Hawthorn you will need to complete either:-

The forms are in Acrobat PDF format and your computer must have Adobe Acrobat reader (free) or similar in order to read and print them.

Please print the downloaded form, then complete your details and determine the applicable fee.
If posting your form, you may pay by cheque or Bank Transfer [our bank details are on the Application form]. Your cheque should be made out to 'Third Age Learning (Hawthorn) Inc.' Post the Form and cheque to:

You may also pay by credit card or cash by calling in at our office at 26 Sinclair Avenue to make yourself known. Car parking is available on site. [Please note we cannot take credit card details over the phone.]
Full Membership Fees:
- Single person: $40.00 per calendar year.
- Single or joint membership, joining on or after 1st September: $15.00 per person for the remainder of the year.
- Couples or two persons at the same address, sharing one copy of all mail sent periodically to members: $65.00 per couple per calendar year.
- There is no restriction on the number of courses which may be attended, subject to class number limitations.
Associate Membership Requirements and Fees:
- An Associate Member is a person who is a Full financial U3A member at another Campus.
- Such members may attend the U3A Hawthorn campus by applying for Associate Membership and paying a fee of $25.00 per calendar year.
- Attendance for Associate Members is restricted to two classes.
Honorary Life Membership
- Honorary Life membership is the highest honour which U3A is able to bestow upon a member for service to the organisation.
