OA02 - Outdoor Activity: Munari Cycling Group
We are lucky that the U3A Hawthorn's Sinclair Avenue campus is right on the Gardiners Creek bike trail with links to many excellent rides via other bike trails.

So where is Skeleton Creek? It's the current end of the Hobson Bay Council's network of bayside bike trails - past Altona at the head of Port Phillip Bay.

For this trip the Group used the Gardiners Creek and Yarra trails into the city and then via Southbank to Docklands, past Telstra Dome and on to Footscray road; past the Stony Creek Backwash beneath the Westgate bridge; the Williamstown trail to Williamstown; then the Kororoit Creek trail which follows the Esplanade and on to Altona. From Altona across the Laverton Creek footbridge the trail passes through the Truganina Park and ends at Skeleton Creek in the Cheetham wetlands.
