Maribyrnong River

2 hour boat cruise

A cruise along the Maribyrnong River with commentary provided by the Captain of the popular cruise vessel Blackbird, in which he outlined the early history of life along the river. The first european sighting of the river was by L.T. Robbins and Charles Grimes in 1803 and the area was settled by groups led by John Pascoe Fawkner and John Batman in 1835.
